The Killeen Independent School District Specialized Learning Department is hereby informing parents and former students that confidential special education records of students who graduated or left the district during the school year 2019-2020 will be destroyed on or after November 3, 2025.

The destruction of these records is in accordance with the Texas Education Agency and the Texas Library policies and procedures.

Files of students currently receiving special education services will not be destroyed. Transcripts of special education students will remain at the high schools.

(These meetings are to discuss how we as a community use our resources including facilities, staff, and programs, this includes the potential closing and consolidation of existing campuses to ensure students across the district have access to high quality programs and facilities.)

Order online at Jostens.com or pay the cashier on campus by September 12 and receive four free icons on the cover by personalizing the book for $8. After Sept. 12, icons are $5 each with $8 personalization until Jan. 30.
Yearbooks will come out in May 2026.
